Application information & job DESCRIPTIONS
All applicants must complete in full an official City of Ridgecrest employment application. All applications must be completed in their entirety. The applicant has the responsibility to explain his/her qualifications fully and clearly. An incomplete application may be cause for disqualification. Applications which best meet the City’s needs are invited to participate in the selection process. A written exam and oral interview may be required. Candidates selected for interview will be required to sign a release for a pre-employment background check. Offers of employment are subject to successful completion of (some or all of the following, depending on position requirements) 1) a pre-employment physical, 2) psychological exam, 3) fingerprinting and/or 4) background check. The City will screen for those applicants who are most qualified and who possess the desirable special qualifications. Applications can be submitted via in person at City Hall - Second Floor Finance Window, US mail, email or fax (see below).
Applications must be received no later than the final Filing Date by 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted (or the first 40 applications received, whichever occurs first) NO POSTMARKS ACCEPTED.
