Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting

The award is in recognition of meeting professional standards and criteria in reporting which reflects a high level of quality in the annual financial statements and the underlying accounting system from which the reports were prepared. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. The City of Ridgecrest has been receiving this award since 2004.
