Call the Police Records Section 760-499-5101 and ask how to access police reports filed with the department or come to the Police Department Lobby and ask to speak with a Records Clerk.

Call the Police Department Business number at 760-499-5100 and ask to speak with the Dispatchers. The Dispatcher will ask you information about the vehicle, color, make and noise. This information will be forwarded to the Field Units.

Call the Police Department Business number at 760-499-5100 and ask to speak with a Field Officer. The Officer will ask you information related to the date and time of the call. Additionally, the Officer will provide you the procedure to obtain a phone trap through the local Phone Company.

Call the Police Department Business number at 760-499-5100 and ask to speak with the Dispatcher. The Dispatcher will ask you if the animal is contained. The Dispatcher may obtain the information for a later investigation by an Animal Control Officer or may give the information to the Field Officer depending upon the amount of emergency traffic the Officers are handling at that time. The information the Dispatcher is requesting may be used by the Officer to contact you by phone.

On the back side of the "Parking Citation" are instructions on handling a parking citation. You may also contact the Traffic Sergeant at 760-499-5143. The Traffic Sergeant can advise you on how to take care of the citation.

A stored vehicle may require that you pay the department an administration fee prior to the tow company releasing your vehicle.

Call the Police Department Investigation Division at 760-499-5121 and ask to speak with the Case Agent assigned to your case. A report will usually be moved from the initial Officer that took the report to the Case Agent in Investigations within ten to fourteen days. The Case Agent can advise you on the steps that a report goes through.

Every person engaged or intending to engage in any calling, business, occupation or profession in whole or in part, within the limits of the City of Ridgecrest, CA, is required to pay an annual license tax for the privilege of doing business and obtain a business license.

Business licenses are renewed annually. All licenses expire December 31st of the calendar year. Renewal notices are mailed out in November, and the due date is no later than December 31st. All payments that are received February 1st or thereafter are considered late and will be charged a late fee.

If you are located in the City of Ridgecrest but work from your home, you will need to complete the Business License Application , and you will also need a Home Occupation permit from the Building Department.

You can submit a completed Business License Change Form and we will process the changes within 2-3 business days.
*Please note that there is $3.00 fee if your changes affect the face of the Business License.

Please notify the City of Ridgecrest by submitting the Business License Inactivation Form or notifying us come renewal time so that we can mark your license inactive. Fees will accrue if you do not notify the City of Ridgecrest that your business is inactive.

If you would like to schedule a facility rental please make a reservation by reaching out to our Scheduling Coordinator Jennifer at jledbetter@ridgecrest-ca.gov
Your deposit is due at time of reservation and the remaining balance will be due at least 14 days prior to your event. If you have any further questions or would like to view the rooms, please feel free to call 499-5151, email Jennifer at the above address or come to the Kerr McGee Center as we would be happy to assist you.

To rent racquetball court(s) you will need to call 760-499-5151 as we no longer accept reservations online. The cost is $12.50 per hour and we have 2 courts available. Rental includes equipment as well such as ball, racket and eye wear.
