Starting Monday, January 9th, 2023 construction will be occurring on Ward Ave between Wayne St and China Lake Blvd, if weather permits.
Ward
Ave between Wayne St and China Lake Blvd. will be closed to through traffic during the day from 6:30 A.M. until 5:30 P.M. Ward Ave will open to all traffic after 5:30 P.M. Although Ward Ave, between Wayne and China Lake will be shut down to through traffic, residents in the affected areas will have full access throughout the day from Norma St. A construction flagger will assist residents to and from their homes. Flaggers will be provided at Wayne St and Palo Verde Dr to allow local traffic access to residences at all times.
Residents using Palo Verde Dr may continue to use Palo Verde Dr to exit onto Ward Ave, however, you will be directed west towards Norma St to leave the area.

Affected residents will receive written notices Friday, January 6th, 2023 via door hanger.
